Nadal wins French Open 2007

Federer bauji lost French Open on last Sunday and we lost in the finals of Sportz Village Inter Corporate soccer 5-a-side. We lost by 1-2 against Infosys BPO.

The only good thing to have happened to Fedex afterwards was that he was still upbeat about his tennis. He said if there is anyone who could beat Rafa, it was him and that loosing French Open has only brought more challenges for him and will make him do better.

Rafa was at his best in the match. It was his third consecutive win at the French Open making him only second player in the world to do so after Bjorn Borg (if I am not wrong : -)
The first set went on for 55 minutes, second for 50 min, third one was around 40 minutes fourth one must have been around 30 minutes or so…Rafa won 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4…

I think Federer plays against Rafa as he plays against any other opponent. It’s high time Federer treats his nemesis a little better and tries to play his best against Rafa…(look at who is advising No. 1 Tennis player in the world :)

French Open 2007- Federer Vs. Nadal

Federer defeted Davydenko in the semifinals of the French Open to book a berth in the Finals. The most interesting part of this match was the set that Federer lost by 6-1. Davydenko made Federer looked mortal. But as soon as this set was over, Fedex regained breath and was back at being the best…

Nadal beat Novak Djokovic in the other semifinal. Nadal slugged it out against Djokovic for the first set and it was only stamina and a loss of little experience on Djokovic’s side that made him gave in.

Final is all set for Sunday where No. 1 and No 2. will fight it out for French Open Men Singles Trophy. Just before this tournament, Federer managed to beat Nadal on the clay court in Germany.

My favorite is Fedex though I wouldn’t want it to be straight set win. It will be nice to see Rafa trying to give Federer a run for his money. Fingers crossed!
