This world cup seems to be the most star-studded world cup with all major teams having their fair share of star players. Brazil being the defending champion will try its level best to win the cup again;Ronaldinho, her star player, is equipped with all the skills (see the youtube link below) and drama (last world cup) and is an important asset...

Random thoughts...

There have been times in the last week when I had to leave a movie (on TV) in between and go away for lunch/dinner/phone calls. Some of them being I, Robot, Panic Room, National Treasure etc.

Somehow also got out of reading habit and I have to resume it asap…

Cricket:
Sehwag probably read my blog and scored in nineties twice in five one-day series, both times short of a century only by four-five runs. In the first test against Windies, Wasim Jafar hit a double ton and in second innings, India set a target of 392 for Windies to chase. Windies almost faltered only to be saved by the last pair. They were able to draw the match by a wicket.
Dhoni showed his blitzkrieg again by hitting 6 sixes, 3 of them consecutively. The fourth was caught under doubt by Daren Ganga. He was adjudged not-out by third umpire. Despite this fact, Lara pressured Dhoni to walk out. He snatched the ball from the umpire. At this juncture, Dravid announced the declaration of the innings and set a target of 392 for Windies to chase.

Haven’t been able to watch either Fanaa or Da Vinci Code....
