an Amazing weekend

I have done enough ranting about it raining heavily in Bangalore. Now, on the brighter side, the weather on this weekend (and today as well) was marvelous, amazing…To top it, we had a corporate 5-a-side football tournament on both Saturday as well as Sunday. We came out as the topper of our group winning over all the other 3 teams; faced progeon (an Infy company) in quarters and beat them too to eventually loose in semis by 3-2 and our nemesis Tesco went on to loose to Infy by 7-0 in finals!!!
Kingfisher had sponsored this event. It was total fun. On the first day, there were lots of people with kids, girlfriends, wives etc…their were tarot-card readers, caricature artists, magicians etc..a DJ was also there….we sang Buffalo Soldier (on mike) while the song was being played on a big screen displaying lyrics of the song…
Beer was flowing free and all in all, it was fun. Once in a while, a train passed by on the elevated railway track giving us a feeling of being a part of a scenery frame…
