Infinitea

Last week, after attending a talk by Mr. Vint Cerf, father of Internet, we made our way to Infinitea- a tea bar on Cunningham Road. This ambience of this place is soothing; the price of eatables is not so much. But you don’t go to such a place everyday!

They have made well use of the space and it never felt too crowded despite many people being there. At the same time, I doubt if it can accommodate more than thirty people at a go.

You will have a hard time choosing the tea because there is plethora of choice on the menu. You can have it with milk or without milk, have it hot or have it cold, have it with bunch of tea leaves inside your cup or without them, have it with sugar or without it.

You can find funny quotes everywhere- on walls, tea-coasters and perhaps also on tissue papers lying on table.

We went for a sandwich which was priced at around 135 Rupees and believe me it was worth the cost. Masala tea, though, was priced reasonably at around 50 Rupees a pot, which could serve two people.
The crockery was amazing and breathtaking. As they say, ‘Devil lies in the details’, attention is paid to every aspect of drinking tea here.
Try it out…

We (Myself, Manish, Suresh and Vijai) cracked lots of jokes and had lot of fun and after about an hour or so we headed home.
