Munich

Directed by Steven Spielberg, Munich takes you back to the Munich Massacre of 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich.

Eleven Israeli athletes were taken hostage and eventually killed by eight members of a Palestinian terrorist group called Black September. In retaliation, Mossad secretly backed by Golda Meir decides to wipe out the architects of Munich Massacre. They send a team to Europe to achieve the same.

Eric Bana plays the lead role of Avner Hoffman who leads this team. Daniel Craig, new James Bond actor, is also a member of this team along with Mathieu Kassovitz (Amelie). Spielberg has not tried to take any side. Eric Bana does full justification to the role.

The plot of the movie is very smooth and interesting. The nationality of most of the actors in the movie matches that of the characters therefore the movie seems very authentic.

Goof-ups in the scenes of this movie are available on net but none of them can be noticed by a layman.

Marie-Josée Croze is perfect in depiction of her dutch character. Mathieu Amalric has wonderful looks and his acting is flawless.
This movie contains nudity so don’t watch it with children.

A must watch, I would say.
